If you’re a therapist searching for a clinic or private practice that aligns with your values, you already know that where you work matters just as much as what you do. The mental health field is full of opportunities, but not all of them fill your cup the same way. Many clinicians today feel overworked, underappreciated, and lost inside large corporate systems that treat both clients and clinicians like numbers on a spreadsheet.
You might find yourself drowning in paperwork, buried under administrative tasks, and spending weekends catching up on notes instead of resting or reconnecting with family. It’s easy to lose sight of why you became a therapist in the first place when compassion takes a backseat to quotas and productivity metrics.
At Peace of Mind 5280, Inc., we believe there’s another way.
The perfect therapy job isn’t about the paycheck; it’s about finding a place where your mission and your heart align. At Peace of Mind 5280, Inc., we exist to serve people who need help most: those struggling with mental health and addiction who deserve more than the bare minimum. Our mission is to remove barriers to care and ensure every person who reaches out for help feels seen, supported, and valued.
We don’t believe in rushing clients through appointments or filling schedules for profit, but filling schedules because there is such a need for quality and compassionate care. We believe in saving lives, even if that means it’s a little harder to pay the bills at the end of the month. Because people’s lives matter more than having pretty and expensive things.
We are more than a team, we’re a family of clinicians who care deeply about making a difference. When you join Peace of Mind 5280, Inc., you become part of something bigger than yourself: a mission-driven community that values compassion, authenticity, and integrity over corporate red tape.
We understand the burnout that comes from endless administrative tasks and documentation demands. That’s why our admin team handles as much of the paperwork and back-end coordination as possible, so you can do what you were called to do, be a therapist. We believe your time is best spent connecting with clients, not chasing signatures or managing insurance claims.
We know that pay disparities in the Insurance and Medicaid based world are real. But we also know the pride and purpose our clinicians feel every day are unmatched. Our therapists go home knowing they’ve made a tangible difference in someone’s life, and that feeling can’t be bought.
We also believe in a culture of transparency and growth. We’re not perfect, and we don’t pretend to be. We’re still growing, still learning, and we’re looking for people who want to grow and learn with us. Growth doesn’t happen without a little discomfort, and that’s okay. It’s through those moments that we evolve, both as clinicians and as people. Together, we show up, support one another, learn from mistakes, and celebrate progress, not perfection.
Let’s be honest, competing with the big-box telehealth companies is tough. They offer massive salaries, remote flexibility, and flashy promises that can look incredibly appealing on paper. But behind those sleek marketing campaigns are systems that often run more like factories than care providers.
Many of these large companies operate on a high-volume, low-connection model. Clinicians are pressured to see as many clients as possible, with little time for reflection, consultation, or true relationship-building. Clients become data points, another slot filled, another metric met, and the human element that makes therapy transformative gets lost in the process.
At Peace of Mind 5280, Inc., we refuse to operate that way. The people we serve aren’t just usernames on a telehealth screen or numbers in a billing system, they are the people in our communities. They’re our neighbors, our children’s teachers, the families we see at church, the baristas who make our coffee, and the parents sitting next to us at Friday night football games.
When someone in our town is struggling, we feel it. That’s what drives us to show up differently.
We may not compete with corporate salaries, but we offer something those companies can’t: authentic connection, clinical integrity, and the deep satisfaction of making a difference where it truly matters, right here at home.
Our clinicians aren’t just providing therapy; they’re helping rebuild the emotional fabric of their own communities. That means taking time to understand each client’s story, collaborating with local resources, and making sure no one feels like they’re just another name on a caseload.
We’re proud of that. We’re proud that our therapists value quality over quantity and compassion over convenience. Because in the end, healing happens through relationship, not algorithms.
Colorado is one of the most beautiful states in the country, but it also faces a grim paradox. Despite its scenic vistas and thriving outdoor culture, the state had the second-highest prevalence of mental illness in the nation in 2024 and currently ranks 50th for prevalence of mental health conditions.

On top of that, access to timely crisis services and a robust behavioral-health workforce remain persistent challenges.

At Peace of Mind 5280, Inc., we’re on a mission to change that. We strive to meet and exceed all regulatory compliance standards, because people in crisis deserve excellence, not shortcuts.
We push expectations higher, challenging ourselves and the system, to create a new standard of care in Colorado’s mental health community. Every clinician here is empowered to be a voice for change.
We’re also proud to invest in the future of mental health. Peace of Mind 5280, Inc., offers free clinical supervision for all pre-licensed candidates pursuing Colorado licensure towards their LPC and LAC. We hope to be able to offer supervision towards their LCSW soon. We believe mentorship should be a right, not a privilege. Our goal is to help new clinicians grow with integrity, confidence, and a drive to improve standards wherever their careers take them.
When our therapists leave Peace of Mind 5280, Inc., (though we hope they never do), they carry with them not only skills, but a mission.
If you’re the kind of therapist who feels called to make a difference…
If you’re tired of feeling like a number…
If you’re looking for a family practice feel where compassion drives every decision, then Peace of Mind 5280, Inc., might be exactly where you belong.
Together, we’re rewriting what it means to work in mental health in Colorado. One client. One clinician. One life at a time.
Integrity still matters, compassion and accountability can coexist, and that doing what’s right isn’t always easy, but it’s always worth it.
